LEGEND RUST CONVERTER is a metal surface conditioner especially formulated to eliminate rust on corroded steel surfaces. It transforms rust (iron oxide) into iron phosphate, an inert, hard, greyish surface which is an ideal base for paint adhesion.
Dilution or mixing with water is not necessary because LEGEND RUST CONVERTER is factory prepared for direct use.
APPLICATION
ON RUSTED SURFACE – remove loose rust and scale by wire brushing or sanding.
ON NEW METAL – preclean by removing excess oil or grease with mineral solvent or washing with detergent solution.
Apply it by brush, dip spray or swab.
Once the surface is already dry, remove the residual white streaks by swabbing with cloth damped with solvent or water. Let dry then paint immediately to avoid recurrence of rust.
