Description

Hudson Polyurethane Floor Varnish Topcoat is an aromatic, two-component urethane topcoat that provides wooden surfaces a tough, non-slip, mar-resistant film upon curing.
It is highly recommended for indoor wood and parquet floors. It offers superior resistance to abrasions, spills, and household chemicals.

Product Specifications & Application
Mixing Ratio: 3:1 by volume (3 parts Topcoat to 1 part Catalyst).
Pot Life: Mix only enough material for 4 hours of work; excess mixture will gel.
Practical Coverage: 20 to 25 square meters per 4-liters per coat.
Recoating Interval: 6 hours minimum (sand lightly between coats).
Curing Time: Light foot traffic after 48 hours; heavy duty use after 7 days.
Packed in 4L can and 1L can with Polyurethane catalyst.

Step-by-Step Application Guide
Surface Preparation: Ensure the wood is completely dry, free of dust, and stripped of old waxes.
Sealing: Apply 1 to 2 coats of Hudson Polyurethane Floor Sealer before applying the topcoat.
Mixing: Thoroughly mix the topcoat base with the included catalyst at a 3:1 ratio. Let the mixture stand for 10-15 minutes to release trapped air before applying.
Topcoat Application: Apply 2 to 3 coats of the topcoat using a camel hair brush or a spray.
Sanding & Clean-up: Lightly sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper and vacuum dust between coats. Use Hudson Polyurethane Reducer for equipment clean-up.
